Time to move on.
After 5 days in Iceland, the team headed toward Edinburgh. I feel we missed a lot of the beauty of Scotland as the magic of Iceland was very hard to follow. It was also very windy and rained for most of our Scottish ventures.
Our first attraction: Edinburgh Castle.
Sitting on top Castle Rock (an inactive volcanic plug), this space has been occupied since as early as the 12th century.
You could feel the history as you walked around the castle and the view also helped. Not bad at all, but not the most impressive castle I’ve seen so far in Europe.
