Venezia [veˈnɛttsja]

First Italian stop: Venice

Tourism. Shops and stalls were stocked for the travellers. We had one pasta meal in a restaurant which was very average. However, our bellies were encouraged when we went to a little panini bar (see below). Simple cold meats, fresh paninis and nice selection of whites. A sign of future good things to come.

The masses meant I got to have a bit of fun with my DSLR amongst the sea of faces and fanny packs. Plenty of colours, movement and characters. Quite a contrast to the scenes in Berlin.

We were only in Venice for a few hours, which was probably enough to get what I wanted from the city. Next time I pass through, I might have to pop onto a gondola.

HEYY!! Thank you! Haha I was just reading through your blog. Sounds like you’re having some fun! How long are you travelling around for? Are you swinging back London way before home?
